This is a story about how me Sione, Michael, Sefa and Albert almost died, the day we were travelling to Lalomalava Airport in Samoa. The time was 4:30am in Falealupo on the 1st of Jan 2000 Waking up to get ready for our travel. 2 hour 30 minutes of packing we decided to go for a walk around the town of Falealupo where we bought breakfast. There were not many of places to eat so we decided to eat some Taro and Chop suey at Sefa’s parents house. We started our journey at 2:30pm and began to travel down to Lalomalava.

First off we went to a restricted ground where people say that the Giant Caspa lives in the forest that they call The Dark Forest. We were on this bumpy road for about an hour or two with the heat beaming across the bright blue truck that we were in. As we entered this village there were no houses or people to be seen. This town was like a horror movie that was about to be real.. As we entered The Dark Forest We all started to get scared and the car started to slow down and Sefa yelled out to the Driver  “Hey what's happening” The Driver said “the truck has broken down I think we have no gas”. We got out of the truck and Sione went looking for help as we waited it started to get dark so Michael, Sefa and Albert went looking for Sione while the truck driver stayed back.

We were getting attacked then he came to kill us.

2015/2016 Reflection

Well 2015 was an amazing year with lots of awesome activity's & events. In 2015 I gained confidence with doing work by myself & completing work on time. This year is the year of 2016 with exciting stuff planned for us though out the year. 2016 has started really good so far so i'm  thinking about about what goals I could have this year. Goals this year are Reading, Writing & Staying on task. As I enter Collage next year There will be different things compared to Intermediate and Primary school. It's really hard picking because of students that attend that collage because some students make the school look bad so not many people would go to it.

Preventing yourself from getting sick

Recently we have been learning about explanation writing.This explanation writing is about how you can prevent yourself from getting sick. I hope you enjoy reading and I hope this writing helps you out.

Winter is now coming to the end but these statements could still help you out. This is not boring it is about your health and how you could stay healthy so you can play sports and do outdoor events. If read these statements you could be prepared for winter next year.

One of the easiest ways of staying healthy is eating a balanced range of food. This means eating from the 5 food groups with a focus on fruits and vegetables. If you do that then your body will receive all the nutrients it needs to be in the best condition to fight off invading germs.   

Another way to prevent yourself from getting sick is to wash your hands. This means before you eat and after you go to the bathroom and even when you have finished playing outside. If you wash your hands you are preventing germs from spreading to friends and family.

A different way is to not get close, hug or kiss people that are sick. This means if you get close to someone that is sick you might get yourself sick then you will pass it on to others. If you stop getting close to people that are sick you will stay healthy and germs won’t be able to reach you.
