Preventing yourself from getting sick

Winter is now coming to the end but these statements could still help you out. This is not boring it is about your health and how you could stay healthy so you can play sports and do outdoor events. If read these statements you could be prepared for winter next year.

One of the easiest ways of staying healthy is eating a balanced range of food. This means eating from the 5 food groups with a focus on fruits and vegetables. If you do that then your body will receive all the nutrients it needs to be in the best condition to fight off invading germs.   

Another way to prevent yourself from getting sick is to wash your hands. This means before you eat and after you go to the bathroom and even when you have finished playing outside. If you wash your hands you are preventing germs from spreading to friends and family.

A different way is to not get close, hug or kiss people that are sick. This means if you get close to someone that is sick you might get yourself sick then you will pass it on to others. If you stop getting close to people that are sick you will stay healthy and germs won’t be able to reach you.

Term 2 Reflection

This term we have done alot like most of the things I can't remember but I know that they were fun thing. My three highlights are going Polyfest, going to the School picnic and having our own intermediate picnic. Three things that I want to work on for term 3 is Writing, Reading and Maths. Here is the Recipes to the Anzac Biscuits. Today we have made Anzac Biscuits to do what the ladies use to do for the people that went to WW1. But the biscuits never got sent they use to send Gingernuts because the Anzac Biscuit went off. I hope you enjoy baking Anzac Biscuits!
